PETER PAN

ART DIRECTION & CONCEPT DESIGN

Among my favorite films to have worked on, Director P.J. Hogan's 2003 live-action adaptation of the J.B. Barrie classic featured a huge variety of visual effects, from Victorian London streets and rooftops, to a fanciful journey through space to the cotton-candy clouds and multi-seasonal landscapes of Neverland, the luminous Tinkerbell and the decadent menace of Captain Hook's ship The Jolly Roger.

Working with VFX Supervisors Scott Farrar and Eric Brevig, our always terrific ILM Art team and crew of peerless VFX artists, we threaded a stylized, hyper-saturated look through the film's many fantastical locations, characters and moments, while still sustaining enough realism to keep the audience believing and engaged.
