BOGLE VINEYARDS 'PHANTOM' MOBILE AR EXPERIENCE

I creatively directed and storyboarded this mobile augmented reality (AR), point-of-sale app for Bogle Vineyard's Phantom release, working closely with the development team at Tactic in SF, CA.

 

Referred to as ‘living AR labels,’ these interactive animated 2.5/3D experiences provide a uniquely entertaining way to tell the client company’s story and promote their products.
 

The experience is divided into several beats, all appearing to augment the real wine bottle the user is holding. The experience begins with a multi-ringed word puzzle surrounding the bottle, which then reveals a hollow chamber with a lamp wick which the user must then ignite. The flame that burns within this 'magic lamp' then reveals a secret message written on the inside of the chamber.
